Status of ITER R and D in the Russian Federation

In the frame of the ITER Project the Russian Federation (RF) participates together with other Home Teams in carrying out many R and D tasks. At the present time almost all fusion technology R and D in the Russian Federation is carried out only within the framework of the ITER project. A brief description of the management structure is presented here. The status and plans for the main directions of work are described, among them magnets, vacuum vessel, blanket and first wall, divertor, power supply system, gyrotons and plasma neutralizer for the NBIS materials irradiation.
