Abstract :
A new `Channeling Stage Modelʹ which enables us to estimate a HETP value of a packed distillation column is proposed. An example of separative analysis by the present model is given for binary H2O-HTO water distillation by the packed column with 3.0 and 6.0 mmφ SUS Dixon rings. The present model can explain well the effect of vapor rate on HETP of a packed column.
