New evaluation of (n, np + pn) and (n, t) cross sections for the ENDF/B-VII library

The cross sections for hydrogen production via the (n, np + pn) and (n, t) channels for vanadium 51 have been re-evaluated with the reaction code EMPIRE 2.19, following the recommendations from the fusion community. This evaluation will be included in the U.S. ENDF/B-VII library, scheduled for release in 2006. The (n, np + pn) cross-section has been reduced and the (n, t) cross-section has been increased compared to the ENDF/B-VI.8 evaluation to be in agreement with experimental data.
