Abstract :
The study aims to compare Employee Satisfaction in two sectors. It is a descriptive research in nature. The sample population is 30 employees each from the four aforesaid organizations. The sample size is 120. Non Comparative Scaling Technique has been used in the study. The data that was quantified and analyzed gave the result in favor of the Hotels. It was noticed that the employees of the hotels have given a more favorable response as compared to the response of the airlines’ employees for all the parameters. To conclude, Air India needs to work hard so as to keep their employees satisfied as low satisfaction can lead to high attrition rate. The Overall Employee Satisfaction can be said as relatively on the positive side for all the organizations except Air India. There are certain factors which have strong influence on the overall index but the presence of other factors cannot be ignored.
