Abstract :
Nowadays, electronic learning(E-learning) methods have become one of the more prominent academic procedures in the world. This study was performed to study the relationship between E-learning and the students’ academic achievement in the academic year2014-15. It was applied and descriptive-correlative study. For testing out E-learning, a researcher-made questionnaire was used, the validity of which was acknowledged by professors, and its reliability was found to be 0.88 The students’ latter semester grades were used to evaluate their academic achievement. The study population of the research included 358 girl students from district 2 of Zanjan, among whom 186 were chosen through Cochran formula using randomly chosen sampling. By evaluating the data by descriptive and parametric statistics like the T test, Pearson’s correlation, regression analysis, etc. the results indicated that among all 3 factors of E-learning (computer-based, web-based and Internet-based education) and students’ achievement , there existed a direct and significant correlation, also all three factors had the predictability required for the achievement of the students. Moreover, analyzing the data based on the demography, it was shown that regarding students’ major, E-learning didn’t differ, although third-grade students used the web-based education more than second-grade students.
