Abstract
Rainbow trout as an important breeding fish has a special place in the food basket of human societies. Statistical survey shows that in the period between the years of 1995 to 2011, the number of trout breeding farms and the amount of salmon production in Iran have increased respectively by more than 23 and 70 times.
