Abstract :
This study aimed to review the relationship between social and entrepreneurial skills among high school students in Zanjan, District 2. This was applied descriptive- correlational study. The population consisted of 10,907 high school students in Zanjan, District 2, in 2015-2016. Using Cochran formula and stratified random sampling method, 371 participants were selected as sample. Matson et al social skills questionnaire (1983) and culture-adapted entrepreneurship questionnaire with 95-item were used as research tools; using Cronbach alpha, their reliability was obtained to be 0.86 and 0.90, respectively. The SPSS software and descriptive and inferential statistical methods were used for analyzing the data. The findings showed that there is positive relationship between appropriate social skills and peer relationships and entrepreneurship. Also, there was negative relationship between impulsive behaviors and asocial behaviors and entrepreneurship. However, there was no relationship between rivalry and entrepreneurship among high school students. Also, the girls were strong in social skills; but they were weak in entrepreneurship skills compared to boys.
