Abstract :
This study analyzed the educational and instructional implications of Social Network Sites (SNS) in the ESL/EFL teaching and learning context. SNSs definition, types, classifications, features, positive and negative aspects, their educational implications as well as their limitations and challenges in the ESL/EFL classroom settings are identified and discussed in order to better utilize and integrate their innovative aspects into the language teaching and learning practices.
