Abstract :
ABSTRACT: “The Infl uence of Portfolio-Based Learning Model towards Student Learning Outcomes at the STKIP
PGRI Lubuklinggau”. The eff orts of lecturer to innovate learning, which aims to create the activity, students’ ability
to solve problems, and work through the model-based learning portfolio are in accordance with the philosophy
of constructivism. The research objective was to describe the infl uence of learning model portfolios towards
learning outcomes of students at the STKIP-PGRI (College of Teacher Training and Education – Indonesian Teachers
Association) Lubuklinggau. This type of research is pure experimentation using two samples, namely class VI-C as
the experimental sample and class VI-D as the control sample. Data collection was using test techniques in the
form of an essay. Data analysis technique used is by using the non-parametric median test, because the data are
not normally distributed. Based on the results of this study concluded that there is infl uence of the use of portfolio
based-learning models on learning outcomes of students in the course of Education History in Indonesia. It can be
seen from the analysis of student results on the post-test of experimental class that generates an average value
of 64.76 and 48.65 for the control class. Results of experimental class capabilities are also better than the control
class. Likewise, if seen from the increase in the grade of the Normalized gain (N-gain), the results of student
learning in the experimental class is 0.88 and control class is 0.62.
