Abstract
The genus Sagina L. (Caryophyllaceae) was reviewed during the preparation of Flora of Iran (in Persian). All specimens of Sagina and close taxa were studied and identified in the Herbarium of Research Institute of Forests & Rangelands (TARI). A specimen from SW of Ramsar, W. of Javaher-deh was identified as Sagina procumbens L. which is new for Iran and the Flora Iranica region. Geographical distribution and its illustration are presented here.

به منظور اجراي طرح تهيه و نگارش فلور ايران به زبان فارسي، جنس Caryophyllaceae) Sagina L) . كليه نمونه هاي موجود از اين جنس
در هرباريوم موسسه تحقيقات جنگل ها و مراتع كشور (TARI) مورد مطالعه و بررسي دقيق مورفومتري قرار گرفته و در نهايت شناسايي علمي
گرديدند. از ميان نمونه هاي شناسايي شده يك نمونه با نام Sagina procumbens L. شناسايي شد در حالي كه پيش از اين گونه مذكور از ايران
گزارش نشده است. بنابراين مقاله حاضر گزارش جديدي براي اين گونه از ايران و محدوده فلور ايرانيكا ميباشد. پراكنش جغرافيايي و تصوير
مربوط به گونه ارايه گرديده است.
