Abstract
This study focuses on the performance of H-shaped steel beams to CFT column rigid connections. To
this end, the effects of internal and external stiffeners on hysteretic behavior of connections were
studied. Comparative numerical analyses were carried out on eight different connections. To this
end,finite element models were prepared using ANSYS and nonlinear cyclic analyses were carried out.
Results of this study revealed that external stiffeners are key elements to increase the ductility and
strength of steel beam to CFT column connections. The connections with internal stiffeners, without
any external stiffeners did not exhibit observable hysteretic behavior. On the other hands T-shaped
stiffened connections exhibited stable hysteresis loops. Furthermore the capacities of T-stiffened
connections were about 1.75 times greater than that of models with horizontal or vertical stiffeners.

اين پژوهش بر عملكرد اتصال صلب تيرهاي اچ شكل به ستون هاي فولادي پر شده با بتن متمركز است. براي اين منظور اثر سخت كننده هاي داخلي و خارجي بر رفتار چرخه اي اتصالات بررسي شده است. مطالعات عددي مقايسه اي بر روي هشت اتصال مختلف به انجام رسيد. براي اين منظور روش اجزاي محدود با استفاده از نرم افزار انسيس به خدمت گرفته شد و تحليل هاي غير خطي تناوبي به انجام رسيد. نتايج اين تحليل ها نشان داد كه سخت كننده هاي بيروني اجزايي كليدي در افزايش شكل پذيري و مقاومت اتصالات تير به ستون هاي فولادي پر شده با بتن هستند. علاوه بر اين نشان داده شد كه سخت كننده هاي تي شكل موثرترين نوع سخت كننده هاي خارجي براي بهبود رفتار چرخه اي اتصال تير به ستون فولادي پر شده با بتن مي باشد
