Recognizing Effective Factors on Technology Acquirement of Foreign Companies by Local Ones

Technology transfer and acquirement are complex categories, that here engaged many associations and organizations, scientifically, culturally, politically and economically for many years. Multiple methods affect on acquiring technology capabilities from foreign companies, like foreign direct investment, license agreement, but the study of effective factors on acquiring these capabilities and the necessary knowledge, needs lots of research. The purpose of this study is to find effective factors on technology acquirement of foreign companies by local companies, that in this research, first information gathering has been done through studying different resources and surveying research record, and then all recognized factors have been questioned in the front of a questionnaire by experts and specialists of technology management and transfer area about the effectiveness rate of each factor, and the major effective factors have been identified by statistical analyses.
