Abstract :
ZnO nano rod was prepared by microwave assisted method. The crystal structure of the nano
powders were confirmed by X-Ray diffraction analysis and the mean particle size was estimated by the
Scherrer’s formula. The surface morphology of the nano particles were analyzed by SEM and TEM. The
absorption spectrum of the material in the UV-Vis range was recorded. The prepared ZnO rod was used as a
photocatalyst in presence of UV light against Malachite Green dye. The ZnO nanoparticle was found to be an
efficient low cost photocatalyst which degraded Malachite Green dye in presence of UV light in a relatively
short period of time.

نانولوله ZnO با استفاده از روشي بهره گيري از مايكروويو تهيه شد. ساختار كريستالي نانوپودر با استفاده از آناليز پراش اشعه ايكس تاييد شد و اندازه ميانگين ذرات با استفاده از فرمول شرار تخمين زده شد. مورفولوژي سطح نانوذرات با استفاده از SEM و TEM آناليز شد. نانولوله ZnO تهيه شده بعنوان يك فوتوكاتاليست در حضور نور UV براي رنگ سبز مالاشيت استفاده شد. نانوذرات ZnO بعنوان فوتوكاتاليستي ارزان قيمت و موثر، رنگ سبز مالاشيت را در حضور نور UV و در يك بازه زماني نسبتا كوتاه تجزيه نمود
