Abstract :
Background/Objectives: The evaluation of different aspects of subarachnoid hemorrhage

MaterialsandMethods:Wereviewedtherecordsof580SAHpatientsinwhomthedisease
was proved by brain CT scan and/or lumbar puncture. In all of the patients, a standard
subtractionbrainangiographywasdone.
Results: Sixtypercent of allpatientsweremaleandabout sixtypercent ofpatientswere
aged30-60years.Theangiogramshowed:aneurysmin23.4%,arteriovenousmalformationin

Conclusion:The highprevalenceofthedisease inmencouldbeduetothe relativelyhigh
