Abstract :
The facile synthesis of various P–C–C-P compounds is described, based on the reaction of dialkyl (aryl) Phosphite with activated acetylenes in the presence of NaCN. Using this approach, symmetrically substituted 1,2-bisphosphorus compounds can be obtained in good yields.
