Abstract :
Phosphonato esters were obtained from the 1:1:1 reaction between triethyl phosphite and dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate in the presence of dimedone and phenolic compounds, such as p-cresol and 2,6-dimethyl phenol without using any catalyst at room temperature in good yields.
