Abstract :
Sensitive and simple kinetic approaches are explained for the chloramphenicol assessment in pure form as well as
Pharmaceuticals. The approach are depended on Reduction as well as spectrophotometric assessment of chloramphenicol
Antibiotic (by zinc powder and concentrated hydrochloric acid) and followed the reaction with Trifluoperazine in the existence
of sodium per iodate that producing a strongly colored result at the temperature of room, the color product from this reaction
measured spectrophotometrically at λmax= 503 nm. On constant time (at 2 minutes) approach are exercised for the assessment
of concentration. The linear calibration curve were happened in the concentrations extent (0.5-22 ppm) sequenceally .The
outcomes were confirmed statistically additionally restricted during the of studies recovery, as well as make been exercised
with success for the assessment of chloramphenicol in official dose forms.
