Abstract :
Simplistic synthesis of new phenyl bearing piperidone moieties within the main cyclic chain was synthesized through the Michael addition reaction of phenylethyl acetamide with novel chalcone. It’s a comparative study of synthesizing compounds by conventional as well as non-conventional microwave irradiation in a commercially, modified microwave oven and conjointly confirms the attainable intervention of specific microwave effect. The structures of newly synthesized compounds were characterized by FT-IR, UV-Vis, NMR (13C, 1H) and GC-Mass. The synthesized compound novel chalcone were evaluated crystal structure X-ray diffraction patterns.
