Abstract :
Objective- In the present study the role of essential oil of Salvia rhtidia (SR), in
ameliorating renal ischemia reperfusion (IR) injuries is evaluated.
Design- Experimental in vivo study.
Animals- 48 male healthy Wistar rats between 250-300 grams.
Procedures- The animals were randomly divided into eight groups of six rats. In
ischemic groups (groups A-D), under general anesthesia both renal pedicles were
approach from ventral midline and occluded for 40 min by Rumel tourniquet. Groups A
and B received SR essential oil 48, 24 and 1 h before operation, whereas group C and D
received the same volume of normal saline (NS). In Sham groups (E-H) all the procedures
were like groups A-D, except occluding the renal pedicles. The period of reperfusion in
groups A, C, E, and G was 1hour, whereas in groups B, D, F, and H was 24 hours, when
blood samples were taken to evaluate blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and creatinine followed
by sacrificing the animals for histopathological and ultrastructural studies.
Results- IR resulted in increase in BUN and Creatinine significantly. The most increase
was in group D (40min ischemia, 24h reperfusion with NS). Histopathogically and
ultramicroscopically the most prominent changes including severe acute tubular necrosis (ATN), hemorrhage and thiroidization, cytoplasmic vacuolization, swollen mitochondria
with reduction in the number of cristae, pyknotic nuclei with abnormal chromatin
condensation were also in group D.
Conclusion and Clinical Relevance- This study showed that SR essential oil can protect
the kindly from IR injuries, due to antioxidative effects of the drug.

ﻫﺪف- در اﻳﻦ ﻣﻄﺎﻟﻌﻪ ﺗﺄﺛﻴﺮ اﺳﺎﻧﺲ ﮔﻴﺎه ﻣﺮﻳﻢ ﮔﻠﻲ اﻳﺮاﻧﻲ )ﻻﻟﻪ زاري( ﺑﺮ ﻛﺎﻫﺶ آﺳﻴﺐ ﻫﺎي ﻧﺎﺷﻲ از ﻗﻄﻊ و ﺑﺮﻗﺮاري ﻣﺠﺪد ﺟﺮﻳﺎن ﺧﻮن در ﻛﻠﻴﻪ رت ﻣﻮرد ﺑﺮرﺳﻲ ﻗﺮار ﻣﻲ ﮔﻴﺮد.
ﻃﺮح ﻣﻄﺎﻟﻌﻪ- ﻣﻄﺎﻟﻌﻪ ﺗﺠﺮﺑﻲ در ﻣﻮﺟﻮد زﻧﺪه.
ﺣﻴﻮاﻧﺎت- 48 ﺳﺮ ﻣﻮش ﻧﺮ ﻧﮋاد وﻳﺴﺘﺎر ﺑﺎ وزن 250 ﺗﺎ 300 ﮔﺮم.
روش ﻛﺎر- ﺣﻴﻮاﻧﺎت ﺑﻄﻮر ﺗﺼﺎدﻓﻲ ﺑﻪ ﻫﺸﺖ ﮔﺮوه ﻣﺴﺎوي ﺗﻘﺴﻴﻢ ﺷﺪﻧﺪ. در ﮔﺮوه ﻫﺎي ﻗﻄﻊ ﺟﺮﻳﺎن ﺧﻮن )اﻳﺴﻜﻤﻲ( )ﮔﺮوه ﻫﺎي A ﺗﺎ D(، ﺗﺤﺖ ﺑﻴﻬﻮﺷﻲ ﻋﻤﻮﻣﻲ ﻫﺮدو ﭘﺎﻳﻚ ﻋﺮوﻗﻲ ﻛﻠﻴﻮي از رﻫﻴﺎﻓﺖ ﺧﻂ وﺳﻂ در دﺳﺘﺮس ﻗﺮار ﮔﺮﻓﺘﻪ و ﻗﻄﻊ ﺟﺮﻳﺎن ﺧﻮن ﺑﻪ ﻣﺪت 40 دﻗﻴﻘﻪ ﺑﺎ ﻗﺮار دادن ﺗﻮرﻧﻴﻜﺖ روﻣﻞ روي ﭘﺎﻳﻚ ﻫﺎ اﻟﻘﺎ ﮔﺮدﻳﺪ. ﮔﺮوه ﻫﺎي A و B، 48 ﺳﺎﻋﺖ، 24 ﺳﺎﻋﺖ و ﻳﻚ ﺳﺎﻋﺖ ﻗﺒﻞ از ﺟﺮاﺣﻲ اﺳﺎﻧﺲ ﮔﻴﺎﻫﻲ را ﺑﺼﻮرت ﺧﻮراﻛﻲ درﻳﺎﻓﺖ ﻧﻤﻮدﻧﺪ. در ﮔﺮوه ﻫﺎي C و D ﻫﻢ ﺣﺠﻢ ﺑﺎ اﺳﺎﻧﺲ ﮔﻴﺎﻫﻲ ﻧﺮﻣﺎل ﺳﺎﻳﻠﻴﻦ ﺗﺠﻮﻳﺰ ﺷﺪ. در ﮔﺮوه ﻫﺎي ﺷﻢ )E ﺗﺎ H(، ﻛﻠﻴﻪ روﺷﻬﺎ ﻣﺎﻧﻨﺪ ﮔﺮوه ﻫﺎي A ﺗﺎ D ﺑﻮد ﺑﺎ اﻳﻦ ﺗﻔﺎوت ﻛﻪ اﻧﺴﺪاد ﭘﺎﻳﻚ ﻋﺮوﻗﻲ ﻛﻠﻴﻪ اﻧﺠﺎم ﻧﮕﺮﻓﺖ. ﻣﺪت زﻣﺎن ﺑﺮﻗﺮاري ﻣﺠﺪد ﺟﺮﻳﺎن ﺧﻮن در ﮔﺮوه ﻫﺎي E ،C ،A و G ﻳﻚ ﺳﺎﻋﺖ و در ﮔﺮوه ﻫﺎي F ،D ،B و H 24 ﺳﺎﻋﺖ ﺑﻮد. ﭘﺲ از اﻳﻦ زﻣﺎن ﺑﻪ ﻣﻨﻈﻮر اﻧﺪازه ﮔﻴﺮي BUN و ﻛﺮاﺗﻴﻨﻴﻦ ﺳﺮم، ﺧﻮﻧﮕﻴﺮي از ﻗﻠﺐ ﺣﻴﻮاﻧﺎت ﺑﻪ ﻋﻤﻞ آﻣﺪه و ﺳﭙﺲ ﺣﻴﻮاﻧﺎت ﺑﺮاي ﺑﺮرﺳﻲ ﻫﺎي ﻫﻴﺴﺘﻮﭘﺎﺗﻮﻟﻮژﻳﻚ و ﻣﻴﻜﺮوﺳﻜﻮپ اﻟﻜﺘﺮوﻧﻲ ﻗﺮﺑﺎﻧﻲ ﺷﺪﻧﺪ.
ﻧﺘﺎﻳﺞ- اﻳﺴﻜﻤﻲ و ﺑﺮﻗﺮاري ﻣﺠﺪد ﺟﺮﻳﺎن ﺧﻮن ﺳﺒﺐ اﻓﺰاﻳﺶ ﻣﻌﻨﻲ دار BUN و ﻛﺮاﺗﻴﻨﻴﻦ ﺳﺮم ﮔﺮدﻳﺪ. ﺑﻴﺸﺘﺮﻳﻦ اﻓﺰاﻳﺶ در ﮔﺮوه D ﺑﻮد ﻛﻪ در ﻣﻌﺮض 40 دﻗﻴﻖ اﻳﺴﻜﻤﻲ و 24 ﺳﺎﻋﺖ ﺑﺮﻗﺮاري ﺟﺮﻳﺎن ﺧﻮد ﻣﺘﻌﺎﻗﺐ ﺗﺠﻮﻳﺰ ﻧﺮﻣﺎل ﺳﺎﻳﻠﻴﻦ ﻗﺮار ﮔﺮﻓﺘﻪ ﺑﻮد. ﻣﺸﺎﻫﺪات ﻫﻴﺴﺘﻮﭘﺎﺗﻮﻟﻮژي و ﻣﻴﻜﺮوﺳﻜﻮپ اﻟﻜﺘﺮوﻧﻲ ﻧﻴﺰ دال ﺑﺮ ﺗﻐﻴﻴﺮات ﺑﺴﻴﺎر ﺷﺪﻳﺪﺗﺮ ﺷﺎﻣﻞ ﻧﻜﺮوز ﺣﺎد ﻟﻮﻟﻪ اي، ﺧﻮﻧﺮﻳﺰي و ﻛﺒﺪي ﺷﺪن، ﺣﻔﺮه دار ﺷﺪن ﺳﻴﺘﻮﭘﻼﺳﻢ، ﺗﻮرم ﻣﻴﺘﻮﻛﻨﺪرﻳﻬﺎ ﻫﻤﺮاه ﺑﺎ ﻛﺎﻫﺶ ﺗﻌﺪاد ﻛﺮﻳﺴﺘﺎ ﻫﺎ و ﻫﺴﺘﻪ ﻫﺎي ﭘﻴﻜﻨﻮﺗﻴﻚ ﺑﻮدﻧﺪ. ﻧﺘﻴﺠﻪ ﮔﻴﺮي و ﻛﺎرﺑﺮد ﺑﺎﻟﻴﻨﻲ- اﻳﻦ ﻣﻄﺎﻟﻌﻪ ﻧﺸﺎن داد ﻛﻪ اﺳﺎﻧﺲ ﮔﻴﺎه ﻣﺮﻳﻢ ﮔﻠﻲ اﻳﺮاﻧﻲ ﻣﻲ ﺗﻮاﻧﺪ ﻛﻠﻴﻪ ﻫﺎ را در ﻣﻘﺎﺑﻞ آﺳﻴﺐ ﻫﺎي ﻧﺎﺷﻲ از ﻗﻄﻊ و ﺑﺮﻗﺮار ﻣﺠﺪد ﺟﺮﻳﺎن ﺧﻮن ﺑﻪ ﻛﻠﻴﻪ ﻫﺎي ﻣﺤﺎﻓﻈﺖ ﻧﻤﺎﻳﺪ، ﻛﻪ اﻳﻦ ﺗﺄﺛﻴﺮ ﻧﺎﺷﻲ از ﺧﻮاص آﻧﺘﻲ اﻛﺴﻴﺪاﻧﻲ ﮔﻴﺎه اﺳﺖ.
