Abstract :
Let Γn,κ be the class of all graphs with n≥3 vertices and κ≥2 vertex connectivity. Denote by Υn,β the family of all connected graphs with n≥4 vertices and matching number β where 2≤β≤⌊n/2⌋. In the classes of graphs Γn,κ and Υn,β, the elements having maximum augmented Zagreb index are determined.
