Abstract :
The present article is devoted to the developement of the new seventh and eighth order iterative methods for finding simple root of nonlinear equations. The proposed methods are improvement of the existing sixth order method. Numerical examples are also presented to support the theoretical results. Finally, we have compared new methods with some existing methods by basins of attraction and observed that the proposed scheme is more efficient.
