A note on common fixed point theorems for isotone increasing mappings in ordered b-metric spaces

In this article we prove the existence of common fixed points for isotone increasing mappings in ordered bmetric spaces. Our results unite and improve the recent remarkable results, established by Roshan et al. [J. R. Roshan, V. Parvaneh, Z. Kadelburg, J. Nonlinear Sci. Appl. 7 (2014), 229–245], with much more general conditions and shorter proofs. An example is given to show the superiority of our genuine generalization.
