Abstract
A numerical approximation for Phan-Thien-Tanner(P-T-T) viscoelastic flow problems has investigated. The approximation is proposed by an interior penalty (IP) method and a Streamline Upwind Petrov- Galerkin(SUPG) method. Meanwhile, the error estimates for the above numerical approximation of the P-T-T model is derived. The numerical results support the efficiency of the algorithm.
