Abstract :
The problem of robust stability of uncertain neutral systems with timedelay is studied in this paper. A new free-matrix-based integral inequality is proposed, which is more tighter than existing ones. By using it to investigate the stability of neutral delay systems, less conservative stability conditions are obtained, which are presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Two numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness and the reduced conservativeness of the method.
