Abstract :
The case study is based on ISO 14001 and compares the validation with other certified industries. In view of the above, response has been collected to have further improvements through developed model which was prepared based on the factorization of various input and output variables which is linked to the clauses of ISO 14001. The developed model has represented almost all the clauses of ISO 14001 considering main content of the all the clauses. Response is collected from the industries where input and output variables were sent earlier and also those involved in the implementation of the system. Evidences arrived out of case study suggests that the model questionnaire improves the environmental performance of an organization and bringing effectiveness in the system. This study will give better results after implementation of the model in any sector. Due to the implementation of model, the study has brought the improvements in ISO 14001 and surrounding environment as well. The study on validation stated that by implementing the model, the industries where survey took place have achieved almost 30% improvement in environmental performance.
