CONVERGENCE THEOREM OF MODIFIED NOOR ITERATION FOR NONLINEAR MAPS IN BANACH SPACES

A new result on convergence of the modified Noor iteration for three nearly Lipschitzian mappings is obtained. Our result extends, improves and unifies a host of recent results. An example to show the applicability of our result is also included.
