Abstract :
In this paper, we generalize the notion of α-ψ-contractive type mappings by introducing (α, ψ, φ)-contractive mappings. Further, we prove a fixed point theorem for (α, ψ, φ)-contractive mappings on a space with two metrics. Our result also generalizes some known results in literature.
