Abstract :
Crystalline nanostrips of AlOOH have been
prepared at 240 C through a fast route. Powder X-ray
diffraction studies reveal that the as-prepared nanostrips
are highly crystalline in nature and by morphological
investigations using FESEM, it was revealed that the strips
have average length of 210 nm and width of 60 20 nm.
A plausible theory is proposed which reveals the growth
mechanism of nanostrips.
