The isospin-dependent quadrupole-quadrupole interaction used in shell model calculations - the effects of including (delta)N = 2 excitations and a two-body spin-orbit interaction term

In-beam gamma-rays in neutron-rich sdfp shell nuclei. produced in deep-inelastic collisions of Ca projectiles on 48Ca target nuclei, have been studied using Go multidetector array EU-ROBALL III. New yrast states in heavy argon isotopes have been identified.
