Abstract :
The concept of intellectual disability (ID) repre-sents a contemporary change from mental retar-dation, initially coined as an option to fee-blemindedness. Since 2002, the shift to ID has clearly increased .The birth of a child with ID cause the family many problems since it influ-ences the quantity and quality of parent relation-ships and family members’ interaction could harm the general health and family functions .
