Abstract :

Materials and Methods: This descriptive study included all Iranian stroke patients referring Ali Ibn Abi Talib Hospital in Rafsanjan in 2017, the total number of whom surmounted up to 100 subjects. A Persian version of Impact on Participation and Autonomy scale was used. Finally, collected data was analyzed using independent t-test and one way ANOVA. Results: The results of the present research showed 37 subjects (38.1%) in the dimension of social life turned out to be at the optimum level. The dimensions of participation with people with poor income, except for autonomy in out-of-home duties and lower educational level, were statistically more than the role played by social life, duration of illness and severity of illness (P< 0.05).
