Abstract :
In this paper, some inferential properties of the upper record of the Lomax distribution are inves-
tigated. The upper record of the Lomax distribution parameters are estimated by using methods,
Moment (MME), Maximum Likelihood (MLE), Kullback-Leibler Divergence of the Survival function
(DLS) and Baysian. In addition, These methods are compared using Monte-Carlo simulation. Fi-
nally, this new model is tted on the real data and some of the comparative criteria are calculated
to conrm the superiority of the proposed model to other models.
