Abstract
Wild pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) could be a source of variation to improve cultivated
pepper due to its unique traits with adapting challenges caused by adversity. Interspecific
hybridization has been used as an effective way of pepper introgression breeding, which
transfers genes of interest from wild relatives to cultivated crops. Here, eight fertile
hybrids F1 were produced from pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) and the wild relative (C.
frutescens), as female and male, respectively, by interspecific hybridization. Interspecific
hybrids were identified using conventional morphological descriptors and SSR molecular
markers. The results showed that significant differences in agronomic traits existed
among cultivated pepper, wild relatives, and interspecific hybrid F1. Interspecific hybrid
F1 presented intermediate values, although they were closer to the wild species in most of
the agronomic traits. Analysis of SSR markers clearly showed that interspecific hybrid F1
had bands from the paternal and maternal accessions, which indicated that F1 hybrid was
heterozygous. Our results provide hybrid for breeder to transfer genes of interest from
wild relative, C. frutescens, to cultivated pepper, which is an important step for
introgression breeding.

فلفل وحشي (.Capsicum fruiescens L) داراي صفات منحصر به فرد سازگاري با چالش هاي ناشي از شرايط نامناسب است و مي تواند منبعي از تنوع و تغيير براي بهبود فلفل معمولي باشد. به اين خاطر، از دورگ گيري بين گونه اي به عنوان روشي موثر در اصلاح نژاد فلفل با رگرسيون حائلي (introgression breeding) كه ژن هاي مطلوب را از خويشاوندان وحشي به گياه كشت شده منتقل مي كند استفاده شده است. در اين آزمايش، با استفاده از دورگ گيري بين گونه اي، 8 هيبريد C . frutescens L) به ترتيب به ) و خويشاوند وحشي آن (. C . annuum بارو F1 از تلاقي فلفل ( عنوان ماده و نر، توليد شد. هيبريد هاي بين گونه اي با استفاده از توصيف كننده هاي مورفولوژيك رايج و شاخص هاي مولكولي SSRشناسايي شد. بر پايه نتايج، بين فلفل كشت شده، خويشاوندان وحشي، و هيبريد بين گونه اي F1 تفاوت معناداري در صفات اگرونوميكي وجود داشت. هيبريد بين گونه اي F1 ويژگي هاي بينابيني داشت هرچند كه بيشتر صفات اگرونوميكي هيبريد مقدارشان به مقادير گونه وحشي نزديك تر بود. تجزيه تحليل نشانگرهاي SSR به روشني نشان داد كه هيبريد بين گونه اي F1 داراي باندهايي از هر دو نمونه مادري و پدري بود و نشانه اي بود از ناخالص بودن هيبريد F1 (heterozygous). نتايج آزمايش ما براي بهنژاد گراني كه مي خواهند ژن هاي مطلوب را از گونه وحشي ( C . fruiescens ) به گونه كشت شده منتقل كنند هيبريد فراهم مي كند و اين گام مهمي است براي روش اصلاح نژاد با رگرسيون حائلي.
