Abstract :
This review gives an overview of the applications of ceria nanoparticles as inexpensive, efficient, reusable, and environmentally sustainable heterogeneous catalyst for the synthesis of a variety of key medicinal heterocyclic compounds with the emphasis on the mechanistic aspects of the reactions. Literature has been surveyed from 2005 to 2018.
