Abstract :
Carcinoid tumors are neuroendocrine tumors that usually occur in the digestive tract and lung. They are rarely found in the head
and neck, especially in the sinonasal area. This article describes a typical carcinoidtumor involving the sphenoid sinus, cavernous sinus,
sphenoid bone, clivus, andoccipital condyle, whichwastreated successfully by endoscopic transseptal transsphenoidal surgery
and intensity-modulated radiation therapy.
