Abstract :
The reaction between propiolate and various OH-acids such as phenol, 1-naphthol, 2-naphthol, 8-hydroxyquinoline,
1,6-dihydroxynaphthalene, cathechol, hydroquinone, or resorcinol in the presence of catalytic amounts of KF/Clinoptilolite
nanoparticles leads to lactone derivatives in good yields.
