Abstract :
Functionalized thiazoles are generated from the reaction of dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate, benzoylisothiocyanates
and primary amines and trialkyl phosphite in water. Particularly valuable features of this method include high yields of
products, broad substrate scope, short reaction time and straightforward procedure.
