Abstract :
Microalgae grow in both seawater and freshwater (Carlsson et al., 2007). They have some similarities to terrestrial plants with different growth media and efficient access to water, carbon dioxide and other nutrients, but have higher growth rates and lipid content with high yield per unit area.
