Abstract :
Astragalus lignipes (Fabaceae), a new species of sect. Dissitiflori will be described here based on morphological and molecular data (ITS and matK sequences). Our Maximum Parsimony and Bayesian Phylogenetic Inference analyses
show that the new species is most closely related to A. aestimabilis, A. aucheri and A. xiphidium. It is characterized
by long woody basal stems, chartaceous bracts and long pedicels. We provide information on the distribution and
habitat of the new species with taxonomic notes about it and its sister taxa. We also assess the conservation status of the new species according to IUCN criteria as Critically Endangered.

Astragalus lignipes به عنوان يك گونه جديد از بخشه Dissitiflori بر اساس داده هاي ريخت شناسي و مولكولي (توالي هاي ITSو matK ) شرح داده مي شود. تحليل هاي تبار زايي بيشينه صرفه جويي و بيزين ما نشان مي دهد كه گونه جديد، خويشاوند نزديك گونه هاي
A. aestimabilis, A. aucheriو A. xiphidium است. اين گونه، به داشتن ساقه هاي قاعده اي بلند چوبي، براكته هاي كاغذي، و دمگل هاي بلند متمايز مي شود. اطلاعاتي در خصوص پراكنش و زيستگاه گونه جديد به همراه نكات تاكسونوميك اين گونه و خويشاوندان نزديك آن ارائه شده است. همچنين وضعيت حفاظتي گونه جديد، مطابق معيارهاي IUCNبا درجه در بحران انقراض ارزيابي مي شود.
