Abstract :
It is shown that in the oil production by the gas-lift method a basic problem is the determination of the coefficient of hydraulic resistance (CHR) on different areas in the pumpcompressor pipes (PCP). Using a least-squares method and basing the analysis on the layer statistical data (or well histories, from the moment of starting of exploitation of the well to present), the computational algorithm is proposed to find the CHR on every given area of lift. An illustrative example is presented.
