Abstract
This paper is a review and an extended version of the report made by A.A. Borubaev at the V World Congress of the Turkic world. It contains results on some classes of uniform spaces and uniformly continuous mappings and absolutes, generalizations of metrics, normed, uniform unitary spaces, topological and uniform groups, its completions, its spectral characterizations.
