Abstract :
Waste rock dumping is very important in the production planning of open-pit mines. This subject is more crucial when there is a potential of acid-forming (PAF) by waste rocks. In such a type of mines, to protect the environment, the PAF materials should be encapsulated by nonharmful rocks. Therefore, block sequencing of the mined materials should be in such a way that both the environmental and economic considerations are considered. If non-acid forming (NAF) rocks are not mined in a proper time, then a stockpile is required for the NAF materials, which later on would be re-handled for encapsulation of PAF rocks. In the available models, the focus is on either block sequencing or waste dumping strategy. In this work, an attempt has been made to develop an integrated mathematical model for simultaneous optimization of block sequencing and waste rock dumping. The developed model not only maximizes the net present value (NPV) but also decreases the destructive environmental effects of inappropriate waste dumping. The proposed model, which is solved by a CPLEX engine, is applied to two different iron deposits. Also the performance of the proposed model is cross-checked by applying the available (traditional) models in a two-step manner. According to the results obtained, it can be considered that utilizing the developed model, because of extensive rehandling cost reduction, the NPV improvement is significant, especially when the overall stripping ratio is higher (deposit case A).

اﻧﺒﺎ ﺷﺖ ﺑﺎﻃﻠﻪ ﯾﮑﯽ از ﻣﻬﻤﺘﺮﯾﻦ ﻣﺮاﺣﻞ ﺑﺮﻧﺎﻣﻪرﯾﺰي ﺗﻮﻟﯿﺪ در ﻣﻌﺎدن روﺑﺎز ا ﺳﺖ. اﯾﻦ ﻣﻮ ﺿﻮع در ﻣﻌﺎدن داراي ﺳﻨﮓ ﺑﺎﻃﻠﻪ ﺑﺎ ﭘﺘﺎﻧ ﺴﯿﻞ ﺗﻮﻟﯿﺪ ا ﺳﯿﺪ از اﻫﻤﯿﺖ وﯾﮋهاي ﺑﺮﺧﻮردار ا ﺳﺖ. در اﯾﻦ ﻣﻌﺎدن، ﺑﺮاي ﮐﺎﻫﺶ اﺛﺮات زﯾ ﺴﺖ ﻣﺤﯿﻄﯽ ﻧﺎﻣﻄﻠﻮب، ﻣﻮاد ﺑﺎﻃﻠﻪ ا ﺳﯿﺪي ﺑﺎﯾﺪ ﺗﻮ ﺳﻂ ﻣﻮاد ﻏﯿﺮ ا ﺳﯿﺪي ﻣﺤ ﺼﻮر ﺳﺎزي ﺷﻮﻧﺪ. ﺑﻨﺎﺑﺮاﯾﻦ، ﺗﺮﺗﯿﺐ اﺳﺘﺨﺮاج ﺑﻠﻮكﻫﺎ ﺑﺎﯾﺪ ﺑﻪ ﮔﻮﻧﻪاي ﺑﺎﺷﺪ ﮐﻪ ﻫﺮ دو دﺳﺘﻪ ﻣﻼﺣﻈﺎت اﻗﺘﺼﺎدي و زﯾﺴﺖ ﻣﺤﯿﻄﯽ در ﻧﻈﺮ ﮔﺮﻓﺘﻪ ﺷﻮد. ﭼﻨﺎﻧﭽﻪ ﻣﻮاد ﺑﺎﻃﻠﻪ ﻏﯿﺮ اﺳﯿﺪي در زﻣﺎن ﻧﺎﻣﻨﺎﺳﺒﯽ اﺳﺘﺨﺮاج ﺷﻮﻧﺪ، اﯾﺠﺎد اﻧﺒﺎﺷﺘﮕﺎﻫﯽ ﻣﻮﻗﺖ ﺑﺮاي ﺟﺎﺑﺠﺎﯾﯽ ﻣﺠﺪد آﻧﻬﺎ ﺑﻪ ﻣﻨﻈﻮر ﻣﺤﺎﻓﻈﺖ از ﻣﻮاد ﺑﺎﻃﻠﻪ اﺳﯿﺪي ﺿﺮورت ﻣﯽﯾﺎﺑﺪ. اﯾﻦ در ﺣﺎﻟﯽ اﺳﺖ ﮐﻪ ﺗﻤﺮﮐﺰ ﻣﺪلﻫﺎي ﻣﻮﺟﻮد ) ﺳﻨﺘﯽ( ﺗﻨﻬﺎ ﺑﺮ روي ﻣ ﺴﺌﻠﻪ ﺗﺮﺗﯿﺐ ا ﺳﺘﺨﺮاج ﺑﻠﻮكﻫﺎ و اﻧﺒﺎ ﺷﺖ ﺑﺎﻃﻠﻪ ﺑﻪ ﻃﻮر ﺟﺪاﮔﺎﻧﻪ ﻣﯽﺑﺎ ﺷﺪ. در اﯾﻦ ﻣﻘﺎﻟﻪ، ﯾﮏ ﻣﺪل رﯾﺎ ﺿﯽ ﯾﮑﭙﺎرﭼﻪ ﺑﺮاي ﺑﻬﯿﻨﻪ ﺳﺎزي ﻫﻤﺰﻣﺎن ﺗﺮﺗﯿﺐ اﺳﺘﺨﺮاج ﺑﻠﻮكﻫﺎ و اﻧﺒﺎ ﺷﺖ ﺑﺎﻃﻠﻪ ﺗﻮ ﺳﻌﻪ داده ﺷﺪه اﺳﺖ. ﻣﺪل رﯾﺎﺿﯽ ﺗﻮ ﺳﻌﻪ ﯾﺎﻓﺘﻪ، ﻧﻪ ﺗﻨﻬﺎ ارزش ﺧﺎﻟﺺ ﻓﻌﻠﯽ را ﺑﻪ ﺣﺪاﮐﺜﺮ ﻣﯽرﺳﺎﻧﺪ، ﺑﻠﮑﻪ اﺛﺮات زﯾ ﺴﺖ ﻣﺤﯿﻄﯽ ﻧﺎﻣﻄﻠﻮب ﻧﺎ ﺷﯽ از اﻧﺒﺎ ﺷﺖ ﻧﺎﻣﻨﺎ ﺳﺐ ﺑﺎﻃﻠﻪ را ﻧﯿﺰ ﮐﺎﻫﺶ ﻣﯽدﻫﺪ. ﻣﺪل ﭘﯿ ﺸﻨﻬﺎدي ﺑﻮ ﺳﯿﻠﻪ ﻧﺮماﻓﺰار CPLEX ﺑﺮاي دو ﮐﺎﻧ ﺴﺎر آﻫﻦ ﺑﺎ ﺗﻮزﯾﻊ ﻋﯿﺎري ﻣﺘﻔﺎوت ﺣﻞ ﺷﺪه ا ﺳﺖ. ﻫﻤﭽﻨﯿﻦ، ﻋﻤﻠﮑﺮد ﻣﺪل اراﺋﻪ ﺷﺪه در اﯾﻦ ﺗﺤﻘﯿﻖ ﺑﺎ ا ﺳﺘﻔﺎده از ﻣﺪلﻫﺎي ﺳﻨﺘﯽ ﺑﻪ روش دو ﻣﺮﺣﻠﻪاي ﻣﻮرد ﺑﺮر ﺳﯽ ﻗﺮار ﮔﺮﻓﺖ. ﺑﺎ ﺗﻮﺟﻪ ﺑﻪ ﻧﺘﺎﯾﺞ ﺑﺪﺳـﺖ آﻣﺪه، ارزش ﺧﺎﻟﺺ ﻓﻌﻠﯽ ﻣﺪل ﺗﻮﺳـﻌﻪ ﯾﺎﻓﺘﻪ ﺑﻪ ﻋﻠﺖ ﮐﺎﻫﺶ ﻫﺰﯾﻨﻪﻫﺎي ﺟﺎﺑﺠﺎﯾﯽ ﻣﺠﺪد، ﺑﻪ وﯾﮋه ﺑﺮاي ﮐﺎﻧﺴـﺎر A ﺑﺎ ﻧﺴـﺒﺖ ﺑﺎﻃﻠﻪ ﺑﺮداري ﺑﺎﻻﺗﺮ، ﺑﻪ ﻃﻮر ﻗﺎﺑﻞ ﺗﻮﺟﻬﯽ ﺑﻬﺒﻮد ﯾﺎﻓﺘﻪ اﺳت
