Abstract
The present study demonstrated that calcium stone formers possesses significant decrease in 1,25 (OH)2 Vit D; 24, 25 (OH 2 Vit D and Vit. D binding protein as compared to control. This finding is accompanied with high activity of alkaline phosphatase due to bone fraction elevation, and serum hypoc- alcaemia as well as hypophosphataemia.The interesting finding was the inactivation of superoxide dismutase (SOD) couple with hypercalciuria, and elevation of urine citric acid content.
