All women had glycosylated Hb and Doppler studies of umbilical and middle cerebral arteries. Results: There was a statistically significant difference between both groups as regard BMI, UT.A PI and UM.A PI (p 0.05) and also a highly statistically significant difference as regard, insulin dose, HbA1C, FBS, 2hPPS, APGAR1, APGAR5, neonatal glucose and delivery age but no difference in fetal weight. Conclusion: Fetal outcome in women with GDM seems to be better than women known to be diabetic despite insulin control.
