Abstract :
Introduction: The early diagnosis of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is important for disease treatment and control. Chest CT has a high sensitivity for the diagnosis of COVID-19, and it is considered an important tool for COVID-19 detection in epidemics.
Case Presentation: We report two cases of suspected patients. Due to the special nature of the patient’s work, the patients were suspected of having COVID-19 infection. Chest CT images showed multiple ground-glass opacities in the bilateral lungs. However, the final diagnosis was not COVID-19 infection.
Conclusions: The CT scan plays an important role in the early detection of COVID-19, but imaging manifestations of viral pneumonia have similar CT findings. This reminds us to avoid overdiagnosis during clinical procedures.
