Abstract :
The Nizhnik-Novikov-Veselov (NNV) equation has been solved and the ansatz approach reveals the solitary wave as well as the topological 1-soliton solution. The Lie symmetry analysis and G΄ /G-expansion method give a few more interesting solutions and the Riccati equation approach derive solutions that are of fractional type hyperbolic functions and triangle functions with several constraint conditions.
