Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to find out the differences in the emotionalstability among academically talented students at three schools: daily school, boardingschool, and Maktab Rendah Sains Mara (MRSM). This study involved 117 samples,enrolled through a purposive sampling technique, based on their Peperiksaan MenengahRendah (PMR) results. All respondents received straight A s in their PMR. EysenckPersonality Questionnaire (EPQ) was used to collect the data. Personality emotionalstabilization has been divided into three traits: feeling guilty, self confident, and worried.Descriptive and inferential statistic was used to analyse the data. Result showed that therewas no significant difference among the academically talented students based on theirgender. However, result showed that there was a significant difference in their personalityemotional stabilization based on the different types of school.
