Abstract :
This study aims to identify learning attitudes and behaviours among children living at Children s Home Taiping. The study sample consists of 39 children residing at Children s Home Taiping. The study uses structured interviews to gather data from the respondents regarding their attitudes and behaviours toward at-home learning. The results indicate that most of the children accommodated in Children s Home Taiping display negative attitudes and behaviours toward various aspects of learning. Absence of parental support and the social environment of the children s home itself negatively impact the children s development of educational aspirations and ability to self-manage their at-home learning.
