Stem cells: new different sources and applications in regenerative medicine

Recently, basic biology and clinical application of mesenchymal stem cells have become one of the most major subjects of scientific interest. Stem cell-based therapies for regeneration of various tissues allow an alternative therapeutic solution for a number of diseases. Many researches are concerned with the application of adipose tissue-derived stem cells, which share almost similar characteristics with bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells.
