Abstract :
In study; the number of doctors and health expenditures of the health variable, with the impact on tourism revenues in Turkey, was analyzed for 1975-2013 periods. Stationarity of the series was tested by Kapetanios (2005) unit root test with multiple structural breaks, it was found that the series are I(1). Cointegration between series was tested by Maki (2012) cointegration test with multiple structural breaks and it was seen that the series are cointegrated. Existence of causality among the series were tested via Toda and Yamamoto (1995) and two way causality between tourism revenue and number of doctor and one way causality from health expenditure to tourism revenue determined. Long and short term relations among series were estimated by FMOLS method and it is seen that a 1% increase in number of doctors and health expenditure increases tourism revenue by 2.2% and 0.54% respectively.
